Single Row Taper Roller Bearings
We manufacture and supplies Single Row Taper Roller Bearings from standard grade of bearing steel. They are durable and have high efficiency. Single Row Taper Roller Bearings can be custom made as per the requirement of the clients. Manufactured using latest technology, these roller bearings are available at market leading prices.
Characteristics
1. There are both metric and inch series, and they have been standardized as shown in the following.

2. Dimension series previously not covered by 3XX are regulated under JIS B 1512;Dimensions previously missing from 3XX will henceforth use the bearing number.
3. Besides from any cautionary notes that may appear, the single row tapered roller bearings listed in the dimension tables have subunits standardized for both metric and inch systems (including J series).
4. Sub-units: Tapered roller bearings are an assembly of inner ring, rollers and cage (collectively known as the "cone") & the outer ring (known as the "cup"). These parts form the subunits of the bearing. The dimensions of subunit are as per ISO or ABMA standards, and unified subunits are interchangeable within each dimensional standard. However, high precision grade bearings are generally not interchangeable, and these subunits must be used by assembling only subunits with identical manufacturing numbers.
5. In addition to level type, there are also medium contact angle and large contact angle types, and the contact angle code C and D, respectively, is appended to the basic numbers of the latter two types.
6. These bearings are constructed to have a high capacity for radial loads, axial loads, and combined loads. The larger the contact angle, the greater the axial load capacity becomes. When a pure radial load is placed on the bearings, an induced load in the axial direction is also generated, and so these bearings are generally used in pairs arranged face to face.
7. When used in pairs, proper internal clearances and pre-load can be set by adjusting the distance between the two bearings' inner and outer rings.
8. Tapered roller bearings are also manufactured with flanges attached to the outer rings.
9. Single row tapered roller bearings are separable, so both the inner and outer rings can be used with tight fits.
Specifications & Standards
- Dimensions - The boundary dimensions of the drawn cup needle roller bearings are in accordance with ISO.
- Tolerance - They are manufactured to Normal tolerances as standard. Some are available with reduced width tolerance to tolerance class specifications.
- Misalignment - They are designed to adjust to limited angular misalignments of the inner ring with respect to the outer to a few minutes of the arc.
- Internal Clearance - The internal clearance for single row angular contact ball bearing is obtained after mounting & depends on the second bearing that provides a location in the opposite direction.
Double Row Taper Roller Bearings
Double Row Taper Roller Bearings can carry heavy loads and are stiff. They are suitable for the accommodation of combined (radial and axial) loads and can locate a shaft axially in both directions with a given axial clearance or a given preload. Roller Bearings main use is in gearboxes, hoisting equipment, rolling mills and machines used in the mining industry, e.g. tunneling machines. Double Row Tapered Roller Bearings are produced in two configurations and in several different designs:
Taper Roller Bearings Design
• The configuration bearings of the configuration have one double row outer ring (cup) & two inner rings with roller & cage assembly (cones).
• The TDI configuration which comprises one double row inner ring with two roller & cage assemblies and two outer rings Both these configurations are produced in several different designs.
Misalignment :
Angular misalignments of the outer ring(s) relative to the inner ring(s) of double row tapered roller bearings can only be accommodated by force between the rollers & raceways. This causes appreciably higher bearing loads and should be avoided. If misalignments cannot be ruled out and if the application permits, the configuration bearings with their rows of rollers arranged face-to-face are not so stiff as the bearings, and should be used.
Minimum load :
In order to guarantee satisfactory operation, double row tapered roller bearings, like all ball and roller bearings, must always be subjected to a given minimum load, particularly if they are to operate at high speeds, or are subjected to high accelerations or rapid changes in the direction of load. Under such conditions the inertia of the rollers, cages and friction in the lubricant, can have a detrimental influence on rolling conditions in the bearing arrangement. It may also cause sliding movements to occur between the rollers and raceways. When starting up at low temperatures or when the lubricant is highly viscous, even greater loads may be required. The weights of the components supported by the bearing, together with the external forces, generally exceed the requisite minimum load. If this is not the case, the double row tapered roller bearing must be subjected to an additional radial load. This is particularly easy to apply with tapered roller bearing arrangements by adjusting the inner or outer rings against each other to give an axial pre-load
